Note The first column is always going to be on your X-axis by default<\/p>\n<p>Highlight the data and select Chart Wizard from Insert Menu or the icon<\/p>\n<p>Select XY (Scatter) from Chart Type. <\/p>\n<p>Select the FIRST Diagram from the First Column (Scatter. Compares pairs of values) in the Chart sub-type<\/p>\n<p>Click on Press and Hold to view sample of what you have made<\/p>\n<p>Click on next to continue<\/p>\n<p>Under Data Range; check Columns for Series in and click next<\/p>\n<p>Under Titles, <\/p>\n<p>Type in a title for your Bar Graph<\/p>\n<p>Label both axes<\/p>\n<p>Do not change anything under the Axes tab<\/p>\n<p>Select the Gridlines tab and uncheck every box<\/p>\n<p>Select the Legend tab and uncheck show legend <\/p>\n<p>Select the Data Labels tab and ensure that no box has been checked and then click on next<\/p>\n<p>For Place Chart; Select As object in to show both Data and Diagram<\/p>\n<p>To include a Regression Line;<\/p>\n<p>Right click on any of the plotted data:<\/p>\n<p>Select Add Trend line<\/p>\n<p>Under the Type tab select the appropriate type of graph your data fit<\/p>\n<p>Under Options check Display equation on chart.<\/p>\n<p>How to make a Scatter Plot and Regression Line (for users of Excel 2007) :<\/p>\n<p>Type your data into two columns side-by-side.
