Film Review, Shall We Dance By SuoIntroductionThe movie is about dancing, and the lives of different people. It starts with (Shohei Sugiyama) a married man, and with a teenage daughter decides to enroll for dancing lessons, after seeing and getting attracted to a young woman (Mai), who stands on a studio window every evening, while he rides in a train. He later finds out that he loves dancing more than his work. <\/p>\n
The movie shall we dance by Suo is a movie that is extremely entertaining, and fascinating, from the start; it is a comedy movie, as there are some scenes that are so funny that makes one to laugh. The movie may not be having extra ordinary features but still it is a marvelous movie. The movie is simple as there no dreadful desolation or bitter rivalry or ugly confrontations. In the movie, no person is portrayed as the hero or a character that is not liked by everyone, but the character in the movie has their weakness and strength. In its place, Suo has brought out a society that is natural, with unfaithfulness, retaliation, and complaining victims.<\/p>\n
The lead role has been displayed as an unusually quiet man, unexceptional man, who is not satisfied of the straightforward life he lives, and looking for something more interesting. This is what makes Suo to get attracted to Mai, and later dancing something that he had never thought of trying. Suo does no fault the lead role for falling in love with Mai, or for sneaking from his place of work to go and attend dancing lessons. Shohei\u2019s daughter and Shohei are both brought out as lively individuals. Suo does not also focus on the lead role his family, or personal affairs, but also talks of other people in the movie, such as John, who does not know to dance but love it. The simple way that the movie unfolds impacts on each and every person watching the movie as each and every person can find a scene to connect to ones life. Shohei is not entirely, satisfied by his life which are most people, in the real life feel, but he handles it in his own way.<\/p>\n
There are some humorous scenes all through the movie, such as the unsuccessful hard work of Shohei to be the best dancer, the miserable attempt to dance at the party. His increased interest to dancing even though he is not good at dancing, so the best way he can do it is by moving his feet under his desk. The funny part is where he goes to practice dancing under the bridge, or at the railway station. He even joins a dancing competition even though he is not an expert dancer. <\/p>\n
Conclusion<\/p>\n
The personal life of the supporting actors in the movie gives life to the story, such as the obese man who joins dancing to cut down on his weight but ends\u2019 finding it the best place for him as it gives him joy that he has never had. The director also introduces a woman, who serves as Shohei\u2019s inspiration as an excellent dancer. Shohei\u2019s workmates are the other supporting actors; some are not supportive of Shohei, but the agility of the woman motivates him to continue with his ambition to be become a pleasant dancer.
