This essay focuses on a conception of morality depicted through the scenes in the movie,\u00a0It’s A Wonderful Life\u00a0(1946), starring Jimmy Stewart (as George Bailey), a man whose entire life is reluctantly devoted to helping others.\u00a0The scenes students analyze presented George Baily the Businessman, who runs a Business and Loan.\u00a0 In the day, these financial institutions focus on home mortgages only.\u00a0 The capital came for the depositors and borrowers.\u00a0 This was mutual ownership where the shareholders controlled the business practices.\u00a0 By contrast, banks directed their resources to a wider range of financial transactions.
