The greatest genre-bending of the Coens’ films,\u00a0Barton Fink,\u00a0is a system of a complete inside joke: an art motion picture that creates heartless fun of the affectations of art films. Cannes remunerated the film with a lot of rewards that the fiesta consequently decided to change its rules to avert such sweeps.
