I can’t remember anything and I’m starting to freak out<\/p>\n
I remember when I was small, I would sit in my room and play <\/p>\n
I would pretend that I was a princess and my toys were my friends<\/p>\n
Those were the days When I was carefree and happy<\/p>\n
Now I’m all grown up and those days are gone<\/p>\n
But I’ll never forget the happiness I found in my childhood imaginations<\/p>\n
When the world was my oyster and I had endless possibilities.<\/p>\n
The night sky is so dark with their sharp light<\/p>\n
And the stars are so bright they seem to pierce my heart<\/p>\n
Blue like the sky, red like a rose, white like the snow <\/p>\n
A rose by any other name would smell better<\/p>\n
In my dream I am flying, I am soaring through the sky<\/p>\n
My great uncle was the pain I had, he was emotional and physical <\/p>\n
He was the last extreme pain I had and he died last year. <\/p>\n
I miss him so much, and I think about him every day.<\/p>\n
I wish we could have talked one last time, but I know he’s listening from a better place now.<\/p>\n
You know the forbidden thought I had, so hard to keep these thoughts inside<\/p>\n
The one that has been on my mind for weeks, months, years maybe? <\/p>\n
And all the things we could do If only we didn’t have to pretend <\/p>\n
The one I can’t get away from you no matter how much I try.<\/p>\n
It’s a forbidden thought, I know it well, to want to be somebody else, <\/p>\n
To want to be free, to want to be happy, to want to be me. <\/p>\n
You wouldn’t understand, you’d never know, how it feels to be caged, <\/p>\n
