Through the thoughts and writings of Cortes Hernan, one gets to know a lot concerning the city of the Temixtitlan. He discusses about many aspects of this city such as religion, government, customs, as well as the existing sovereign. He attempts to make every aspect known as he has had a firsthand oversight. Through the writings of Cortes, one easily forgets that this work was not done by a philosopher. This is the reason why Cortes is regarded highly in society up to date. The writings of Cortes suggest that the power of Moctezuma was obtained after Mexico was configured. He ensures that the terrain of this land is made known, as he gives examples of the various landmarks, which exist in the region. Cortes believes that the culture at Temixtitlan is extremely rich because of the people\u2019s lives. There are great cities, which are filled with various activities. Selling and buying of products such as silver, skins, and herbs are activities that attract attention. All the products are of high quality and this shows how the people value quality. As one progresses with the reading, it is evident that religion influences the lives of the people. Priests have a great influence and there are many temples, built using the best architectural standards. Throughout the different paragraphs, Cortes experiences are felt, as he has a connection with the people. <\/p>\n

It can be concluded that Cortes is interested in the culture, religion and customs. He believes that this is his purpose for visiting the great city. Credit should be given to him because of his courage as well as in-depth writings about the Moctezuma.
