Parody can be defined as the use of another person\u2019s work for the purpose of creating a humor. The following is a parody that seeks to ridicule the verse in Hamlet\u2019s work \u2018to be or not to be\u2019<\/p>\n
To do math or not to do math- that is the question<\/p>\n
That lingers in many students\u2019 minds,<\/p>\n
Whether tis good to spend sleepless nights<\/p>\n
Trying to operate figures that always give wrong answers.<\/p>\n
Is it wise for one to torture the mind?<\/p>\n
Trying to chase the wind <\/p>\n
Or telling the waves to stop hitting the shore?<\/p>\n
All these are futile efforts and they will come to naught. <\/p>\n
But the life, the careers, they perpetuate this state of being haunted<\/p>\n
That one has no option but to excel in arithmetic.<\/p>\n
This leaves the students in a dilemma,<\/p>\n
Whether to get harassed and stand better chance in a job market<\/p>\n
Or to risk their lives.<\/p>\n
Thus no one wants to quit, even if the going is tough<\/p>\n
But the question still lingers, <\/p>\n
