For this assignment, I choose the first image. I think that the image is dated back to 1300 BC during the Armana period. There are various features that have enabled me to distinguish, and one of them is that it shows a symbol of the power of which King Akhenaton and his wife are holding three children, an implication that it is about the royal family. Another thing is that the drawings are made in a two-dimension form, an indication that it was among the ancient drawings before artists began the 3-D sculpture painting. Another clue is the writings on the wall- the hieroglyphics were among the initial writings that were invented in Egypt and therefore were much common at the time. Besides, it is around 1300 BC that Egypt began monotheistic religion, in which they worshiped the sun. The rays are a sign of life and originate from the sun god.
