The portfolio contains my own interpretation of George Orwell\u2019s Animal Farm. I present the main argument as presented by Orwell in relation to the characters, characterization, and the symbolic interpretation of each. I enjoyed reading the book and making notes on what I thought each statement made meant. As a lover of literature, I thoroughly enjoyed the way Orwell gives life to each character, the pigs, Mr. Jones, and other animals. Orwell brings out the story in a political allegory fashion. Orwell uses the themes of class power, control, and corruption to in an allegory of the Russian Revolution and the crowning of Joseph Stalin. Class struggles, rebellion, and some form of order and equality are represented by the animals\u2019 lives, but the actions of the pig bring back inequality.<\/p>\n
