The focus of this paper is to provide an analysis of Steven Ascher\u2019s \u201cThe film maker\u2019s handbook\u201d. This forms the basis for the entire book which acts as a stepping stone for readers. <\/p>\n
The film industry is an evolutionary industry in that it changes with regard to the change in society. The digital age constitutes of the use of technology to derive film and pictures in the media. The author guides the reader on interpreting a script and getting a visual insight. This is followed by transferring the thoughts and information into the film which is as a result viewed by the audience. The art of film making continues to develop due to the invention and innovation of new ideas. Ascher ensures that he updates the reader on the latest introduction to the industry. As a student, one of my responsibilities is to form an understanding of film making and production. The book thus plays a key role in my acquisition of a degree in TV production.
