Career Management System<\/p>\n
Career management is related to the alignment of the employees\u2019 need, interest and aspirations with the organisation needs for achieving the objectives of the organisation. It helps employees in attaining the required skills of their development also. It is the process through which, employees identify their own interests, values, strength and weakness and obtain information about the job opportunities that are related to their career goals within company and make action plans to achieve these career goals. <\/p>\n
This is very important to evaluate it on continuous basis for the successful results. It can be evaluate through self \u2013assessment by the employees. They can analyse whether their career goals which they have identified can be realised in practical from or not. It needs to check on the parameters of the organisation like whether it is within the parameters of the organisational development or not. It can be evaluated on the basis of the two types of the outcomes \u2013 first the reactions of the internal customers who are the employees and management because they use the career management system. Secondly, it can be evaluated on the basis of the result of the career management system. It is important that it should be evaluate on the basis of its objective in terms of employees and management.<\/p>\n
While designing career management system, it is important to know the nature of the job, value, mission and organisational structure of the company, individual and company\u2019s performance, career growth opportunities, and employees\u2019 development. <\/p>\n
