Goal: <\/p>\n
For the MA 3 Article Review, you will search for and select an article online that is related to the\u00a0topic of television and its impact on viewers\/the world. Make sure that the article is an\u00a0argumentative or opinion piece. You will\u00a0evaluate your chosen piece with the goal of explaining its impact on you as a reader, and whether it should be included in future iterations of ENL 101. In other words, did the author of\u00a0your chosen article achieve their goal of persuading\u00a0you?\u00a0Did you buy into their argument? Explain how & why (or why not). This is a chance for you to\u00a0contribute to future versions of this course by telling me what to (or what not to) read!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
To get started, run an internet search for articles about shows that you find interesting! If you are not someone who watches shows or movies, try searching topically for articles that make claims about the human hobby of tv-watching\/ value\/lack-of value in watching television etc. <\/p>\n
Complete this worksheet using your top three choices. It will help you focus and narrow your search before settling on the article that you will use to write your essay.<\/p>\n
