Putting it all together
The education standards are going up and every teacher aim to educate all children efficiently. Therefore the teachers need to put together all learning theory pieces that they have attained for the last centuries where the kids have been scaffold, supported and challenged, they have been motivated and have opportunity to become learners for life. This is achieved through a coherent associated approach by teachers organizing schools for powerful integration of learning and development. The teachers should understand the structural features supporting learning and teaching in school.
Expectations for Success
Motivation is a factor that happens in classes since it is a big incentive and learning occurs both consciously and sub consciously. A student can either be motivated or unmotivated. The teachers can motivate or de-motivate a student by letting a student know about, how they scaffold and construct tasks and by developing and supporting their competence. The motivation should be constructed by both student and teacher. The teachers can influence a student s motivation by learning the student’s expectations for success and their interests in learning. Teachers should understand the different unique learning environments that improve students’ inspiration, such as building on students’ strengths and interests, contributing to choices, risk taking encouragement and development of over time, as well as minimizing comparison and competition.
The Key Learning Community
Learning is social since we as a community don’t end up doing learning all by ourselves within our own heads; we work together with others, by assisting one another to learn. Teachers can assist students learn by deliberately teaching in their region of proximal improvement. As well as through identification of students’ skill levels and willingness for a known task and target help consequently. Teachers will strategize on the importance of communication, language understanding and interaction during learning. This fosters guiding of communication in classroom such as group work and managed discussions. Teachers should acknowledge that when students work as a team they help one another and receive on proficiency roles, their learning is build up, reinforced, and sophisticated.
Cultivating Multiple Intelligence
The multiple intelligence theory, gives one a special structure for thinking and teaching in classroom, and how one thinks on what people do in life. Everyone has different ability to succeed in life we therefore rely on this ability to give us strength that there is a pathway into learning more. Intelligence has eight different dimensions and it can be developed and accessed to help students learn. The Teachers should familiarize with how theories of multiple intelligences can be applied in their classrooms by assisting students’ identify their strengths, giving entry points into focused matter, and encouraging students to characterize their perception in different manner
