History has always been an integral part of any country’s development agenda. It goes without saying that, people must understand where they came from in order to have a clear understanding of where they are going and the future that they must forge. In any case, the past holds lessons that can or even should be integrated or included in the present and the future of any country. This underlines the importance of having the past properly documented for future reference. Needless to say, there are variations as to the traceable history of different countries, religions and cultures. This explains why the internet has become such an incredible resource for anyone interested to know the different occurrences that took place in the past. However, there are variations as to the information contained in these internet sources, which may be a pointer at the variations in the credibility of the sources. In essence, it is imperative that learners examine the credibility of an internet site before using it for reference.
