Borderline Personality Disorder
I would rather deal with patients with Bordeline Personality Disorder (BPD), a mental health condition characterized by unstable relationships, extreme mood swings, and trouble controlling emotions. Other symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) include fear of abandonment, unclear or shifting self-image, self-harm, explosive anger, and chronic feelings of emptiness. Causes of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) include being a victim of sexual, emotional, and sexual abuse, parental neglect, exposure to long-term distress as a child and growing up around family members that have mental health illnesses. Twin studies into Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) have found that genetics are responsible for 42% of the variation and that 58% accounts for other factors like the environment. Religious attendance and religiosity have a negative correlation with borderline personality traits, particularly anger, mood instability, self-harming behavior and feelings of emptiness. According to research, people with Borderline Personality Disorder (BDP) have a 75% co-occurring potential. The primary triggers for BDP include disagreements, separations, and rejections-weather real or perceived. Biological causes of BPD have to do with the biological systems, including the HPA axis, the endogenous opioid system that gets affected by childhood trauma. Individuals with BPD show cognitive deficits such as long-term memory, impulse control, and difficulty concentration. Although there is no biological test that can be used to diagnose BDP, mental health professionals employ screening instruments like the MSI BPD to detect its likelihood. Borderline Personality Disorder is primarily treated with psychotherapy, although medication can be added; Hospitalization is often recommended if safety is a concern.
