The journal assignments are designed to assist you in reflecting on your readings and online materials. Experts have found that reflection aids in making connections between past experiences and new knowledge. This also assists in storing the knowledge in long-term memory for easy retrieval for testing purposes. You will find that each journal begins with a phrase or statement to guide you in your reflections. Please reflect on course content related to that topic. Your journal may be completed in a paragraph or a page. Please try to contain your thoughts to no more than 1 page. Please keep in mind the use of APA format as well as proper grammar (no slang) and spelling. I look forward to reading your posts.

In some communities, milk is delivered to each house by a vendor who is called a milkman. Because the milkman makes his deliveries very early in the morning, customers frequently leave notes for the milkman when they wish to change their usual orders. The following are copies of actual notes left for a Milkman.
Can you find the errors in grammar for all the statements? How would you rewrite them?
“Dear Milkman, I’ve just had a baby, please leave another one.”
“Dear Milkman, Please leave an extra pint of paralyzed milk.”
“Dear Milkman, Please don’t leave any more milk. All they do is drink it.”
“Dear Milkman, Sorry not to have paid your bill before, but my wife had a baby, and I’ve been carrying it around in my pocket for weeks.”
“Dear Milkman, Sorry about yesterday’s note. I didn’t mean one egg and a dozen pints, but the other way ’round.”
“Dear Milkman, My daughter says she wants a milkshake. Do you do it before you deliver, or do I have to shake the bottle?”
“Dear Milkman, Milk is needed for the baby. Father is unable to supply it.”
“Dear Milkman, From now on please leave two pints every other day and one pint on the days in between, except Wednesdays and Saturdays when I don’t want any milk.”
“Dear Milkman, My back door is open. Please put milk in ‘fridge, get money out of cup in drawer and leave change on kitchen table, because we want to play bingo tonight.”
“Dear Milkman, Please leave no milk today. When I say today, I mean tomorrow, for I wrote this note yesterday…or is it today ?”
“Dear Milkman, No milk. Please do not leave milk at No. 14 either as he is dead until further notice.”
Here is the scenario:
Terry is working on the first floor. The shift will not be over for another four hours and already fatigue has set in. Terry calls Sam on the phone and says, “I feel like I am going to fall asleep. I have got to go get some coffee. Would you mind watching over things for a few minutes while I go get a cup?” Sam arrives, and Terry leaves, saying, “I’ll be back in ten minutes. But if Dr. Newsome comes in, call me at extension 2731.”
Answer these questions with lots of detail:
What are Terry and Sam doing?
What time of day is it?
Why does Terry want to be called if Dr. Newsome comes in?
Physically describe Terry, Sam, and Dr. Newsome
