Personal Statement: Transfer Letter

My experience since the time I joined (insert name) has been far from lacklustre. My experience at this institution has paved way the achievement of personal and academic goals and objectives. I have engaged in (studies), subjects that have been of interest to me since my childhood. Essentially, I have excelled in these studies, which has in turn given me the satisfaction that I did not make the wrong choice regarding my choice of a course to pursue. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to interact with various different personalities in the institution, all of whom have influenced me a great deal. I have also had the experience to engage in activities that personally interest me, and for that reason, I believe that this institution has made a significant impact in my life. However, after the recent realization of a new field of study, (insert name), that has not been fully exploited, I would like to request a transfer from my current department to (insert name).

Seeing as this institution has granted me the opportunity to fulfill some of my life goals and objectives, I wish to maintain my stay here so as to fully achieve this. Transferring to department (insert name) will allow me to venture into an area that has not been wholly utilized and for that reason demands more input from others. Specifically, I believe that this area has not been developed in my home country, hence making my decision for a transfer more justifiable. I intend to use my knowledge gained from studying (insert name) to assist people in my country in various ways. I am well aware that my transfer will affect my curriculum in this institution and that I will be forced to repeat one year so as to maximize on the course work in department (insert name).

I intend to plan my time well in such a way that allows the accommodation of more study sessions so that I can complete the coursework at the same time with my classmates. I will also take up summer classes so as to catch up, which will require me to suspend my professional activities in my company of employment (insert name). I am determined to make the most of my transfer to (insert name) and the knowledge gained from this studies. I intend to provide my classmates and my instructors the cooperation required to complete my coursework accordingly. In addition to this, i will use my knowledge to carry out further research in the field (insert name), which will in turn assist plenty of people in society. I believe that transferring to this department will bring me a step closer to the achievement of my life goals and objectives. As evident from my resume on file, I am well qualified for this transfer and my performance in my previous school allows me to take this course. I also have a considerable amount of training and knowledge in (insert qualification).

I believe that it is only in this department (insert name) that my knowledge and skills will be best utilized. I am looking forward to my transfer from department (insert name) to department (insert name). I am confident that my decision to transfer will bear positive results for me, and for that reason, assist me in making the most of my academic and professional experience.
