Hello Robinson,
Thank you for your discussion post this week. The discussion describes that unethical conduct does not necessarily mean illegal activity; however, close their definitions depict some immorality. As such, your choice of Johnson and Johnson Company to discuss the unethical conduct that the constitution considers legal is comprehensive. Recent lawsuit by Johnson and Johnson is about the improper sales of opioids or pain medication to rural communities leading to the opioid pandemic. Notably, the federal and state courts handled a lawsuit to determine the legality of opioid sales to the communities. The cases were dropped because the actions were legal according to the law and the constitution (Josh Stein, 2021). Also, your discussion on the purpose of the laws and the books where legal conduct can be referred are authentic. Therefore, I agree with you because of the comprehensive analysis of Johnson and Johnson Company that supplied opioids to the rural community, which was considered by the government legal even though the conduct was unethical. Furthermore, your description of the books containing the legal conduct like antitrust laws, Government Contracting laws, and the Federal Government in acquisition gives detailed information about the legal and unethical conduct.
