Question 1

Hand washing is well thought out as the most significant infectious preventive measure. With the outbreak of the Coronavirus, it is essential to stay safe. Properly washing the hands is just one way to help keep safe since many infectious infections spread by direct contact (Brauer, 2020). We should practice proper hand washing techniques to prevent contamination. It is the least expensive safety to prevent the transmission of corona Virus infection.

The first technique is to wet the hands with water. Then apply lather the hands by rubbing them together with the soap. It is essential to lather the back of the hands, between the fingers, and under the nails. The next technique is to scrub the hands for some time. The next step is to rub the back of each hand with each other’s palm with fingers interlaced. Then rub each thumb clasped in the opposite hand using rotational movement, rub each wrist with the opposite hand, and rub fingers of fingers in the opposite palm in a circular motion. The following technique is to rinse the hands with water, and lastly is to dry thoroughly. Washing hands can keep an individual healthy and prevent Corona Virus’s spread and other respiratory infections from person to person.

Question 2

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention came up with standard precautions and recommendations that could help prevent spreading COVID-19. One of them is that every person be it young or older, should wear masks in public. We should wear them along with keeping six feet apart, particularly around individuals who don’t live with us. Masks are the key to defeat the transmission and save lives (Wu, 2020). They should be used as part of a comprehensive approach since they slow the spread of the infection. The manner of wearing the mask should be over the nose and mouth and secured under the chin.

Another recommendation is to avoid touching the nose, eyes, and mouth. The hand touches several surfaces and can pick up viruses. When contaminated, they have a possibility of transferring the virus to the eyes, nose, or mouth. The virus can then enter the body and make someone sick. It is also necessary to cover the cough or sneeze with a tissue and then disposing of it properly (Wu, 2020). It’s a significant step in stopping the spread of the virus. When an individual in the household is sick or infected, people in the family should take precautions to prevent the spread. Other recommendations include: avoid crowded places, avoid poorly ventilated areas, and monitor your health daily.

Question 3

Living a healthy lifestyle is essential. However, promoting a healthy lifestyle is a challenge for several care practices. Although most patients comprehend the significance of healthy choices, many appear to be unable to change their unhealthy behaviors. One of the preventive methods that can be employed to help patients incorporate strategies into their lifestyles is to get patients involved. It is helpful to initiate conversations with patients to take advantage of teachable moments (Lentferink, 2017). Provision of information on behavioral and medical health risks alongside consultation is essential. An individual can use educational flyers, emails, and other venues to share information about the importance of practicing healthy lifestyles.

Because healthy eating and physical activity are typically connected to patients’ emotional health, addressing this area can motivate them to tackle this issue of healthy choices. Another step is to assist the patient in setting small and reasonable goals. Helping a patient to set a goal is more likely to be successful in promoting a healthy lifestyle. Having a healthy lifestyle signifies choosing to live a life most healthily. It is vital to encourage a patient to own their health. General practitioners ought to emphasize good healthy lifestyles that come from patient’s actions.
